I mean its alright .

I do appreciate that the bus is next to the hotel and the mini mart and upcoming resturant is a big pluss

Sheets could be a little cleaner but the one i have to complain is the lack of shower curtains

Good transit hotel

It was good for a transit stay only. Room and bathroom were clean. Many restaurants nearby. Staff were pleasant.

AC wasn't working and our room was damp but staff immediately gave us another room

good value for money. Good location. Perfect for 1-2 nights, just to sleep!

Very close to the airport, but with the fast train you can be in the city in 10 -15 minutes

Very little room and bathroom. Also just bathtub they have!, instead of a shower

Perfect choice for a short stay between flights or longer if you are looking for good value accommodation. Nothing fancy

We stayed one night between flights. The hotel was a 15 minute cab ride from the airport which cost $25 at 10 pm. Check in was warm and efficient, the room was clean, quiet, comfortable. It had a small fridge, hair dryer, shower was hot and the lighting was good in the room.

The first room we were given smelt strongly of cigarette smoke but we were efficiently moved to another room. The shower was over the bath, which was quite high. It would be difficult to manage if you have mobility issues. The mattress was very firm, which we liked, but you may not.

They let us stay for a late checkout as we did not get in until 3.30 am

An alarm went off for about 10 mins early hours of the morning, no explanation, followed by many more short alarms, no apologies or explanation given!!

Great stay, value for money

I and my partner were trying to get one day off from the family hectic life. Decided to try some hotel in the East and came across with 81 Changi from internet. Was initially sceptical with the quality, but the room was unexpectedly spacious and clean. The location is also perfect because there are many nice and cheap hawker nearby. One can go over East Coast for a walk and get a fresh air (within 15-20 mins of walking).

There is only one lift in the hotel and it is annoyingly very slow and can be not reliable at times (for example, you need to press the buttons several times for it to response). And you would find the carts containing dirty bed sheets and blankets lying along the corridor leading to the room too, which make the surrounding quite messy and stuffy.

Ideal for one night when landing late

The property was very easy to get to from Changi Airport and there were plenty of transport options to get into the centre of Singapore the next day. I arrived at the hotel at 00:10 and was checked in and in my room by 00:20

There were a few cracks in the bathroom sink and the shower head was not secure and tilted towards the wall. The bed only had 2 pillows with no additional available on the room
